Students Perceptions of the Influence of Homework on their Achievement in English as a Foreign Language in the Ramallah District

The study aim to investigate the influence of homework on students achievement and through different variables. Teachers attitudes, parents attitudes, timing, number of homework's during the week and the quantity of homework's. To answer the questions of this study, the researcher developed a questionnaire.

The questionnaire validity was checked by presenting it to a group of referees in education, its reliability was checked by Test-Retest methods and it was 9082. A total population of the study consist of 201 boys and 165 girls random sample 301 of the total was chosen.

The result of the study revealed that there were positive statistical difference between students with higher achievement and homework's, and a positive statistical difference between English teachers and their attitudes and student achievement. Also the time consuming to do the homework. The result showed that no statistical difference were found due to parents attitude.
